Have you ever read a book that every chapter you had those ‘aha’ moments? A book that made you just want to smile when you read it because you were truly ‘getting it?’
I recently bought fellow Fitfluential Ambassador Carla Binberg’s book What You Can When You Can. I mainly bought the book because I can’t lie I love Carla’s blog and her viewpoint. She is so herself, I love it and admire her spirit. But really I’ve bought other bloggers’ books and many times have been left disappointed. GO BUY THIS BOOK..no disappointment here just tons of ‘aha’ moments throughout the book.
Carla and Roni (together they make a rocking team!) have a concept called What You Can When You Can #wycwyc. Basic premise is don’t have an all or nothing attitude about anything in life. It is about living life looking for ways to fit more in…more healthy eating, more time with those you love, more movement…but more balance too! sounds too good to be true, right?
Throughout the book they identify many healthy living scenarios where you could be tempted to have an all or nothing attitude.
Ex, I had a doughnut for breakfast, I’ve ruined my diet might as well have a fast food lunch.
then they propose a solution.
Ex, You enjoyed a treat, now focus on the rest of the day with nuturing your body with whole foods, one treat is one treat not a disaster.
One of my favorites is while you wait for something to microwave do push ups! Or while you brush your teeth do a wall sit.
Carla and Roni’s book is for all! People starting on a healthy living journey, those that are elite athlets, those that just want MORE in their life but have no more time. So while I may not have a true workout for you today. I do have an assignment – Go check this book out, I’d say just buy it don’t even think twice. And I guarantee if you read this book it will change the way you workout 🙂 so enjoy this Wild Workout Wednesday and remember to do the little things when you can because doing WHAT YOU CAN WHEN YOU CAN adds up!
